Major Darren Mudge was born & raised in MA and has ministered in the Salvation Army since 1988. He has been the executive director of Salvation Army operations in Staten Island, Newburgh, Hempstead NY, as well as York & Reading PA. He served in South Africa as Development Secretary and as executive director of adult drug & alcohol rehab programs in Springfield, MA & Jersey City, NJ. He was the Property Secretary overseeing almost 400 properties for the Salvation Army Adult Rehab Command in NY. The Major has a BS in Organizational Management and an MA in Organizational Psychology. Serving in Rome along with his wife, Major Joy, they have 6 children and 8 grandchildren.
