Description
?? Staged Reading: “Women and War” ”A Powerful Evening of Voices, Courage, and Legacy” Join us for a moving staged reading of *Women and War* by Jack Hilton Cunningham — a stirring tapestry of monologues and scenes that bring to life the stories of women affected by war across generations. Housewife to worker, young bride to nurse, mother to widow, and now, young woman to soldier, these are tales of sacrifice, love, determination and hope told by those who bravely persevere on the home front and on the battlefield. From World War I through Afghanistan, these deeply personal narratives explore love, loss, resilience, and the indelible impact of conflict on the women who wait, serve, and survive. "This project is made possible through the CNY Arts Grants for Regional Arts and Cultural Engagement regrant program thanks to a New York State Senate Initiative supported by the NYS Legislature, the Office of the Governor and administered by the New York State Council on the Arts." “Women and War” is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Samuel French, Inc www.concordtheatricals.com
