Ice Cream Social at the Rome Historical Society

The Rome Historical Society’s Annual Ice Cream Social will be held Wednesday, August 3 at 5:30 in front of the museum. This is a rain or shine event. Ice cream has been generously donated by Nicky Doodles. Entertainment will be provided by singer and songwriter Eddie Arcuri. The event will feature other attractions also. This fundraiser benefits the society and its properties, including Fort Bull, Lower Landing, and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldiers of the American Revolution. These properties will be represented at the event and more information about them will be available. Come on down for a fun evening while helping to raise money for to aid the Rome Historical Society in their mission to “to actively research, collect, preserve, and present the historical importance of Rome, NY and to serve as an educational and community resource.”
