Collage Jazz - Decades Series

Rome-based Collage Jazz is a versatile group that specializes in putting their own spin on music from the Great American Songbook, familiar standards, and newer jazz and pop tunes. Join Collage for its summer series "Decades: jazz from the 1940's to today." Each program contains songs from a specific time period, highlighting the artists and music made famous at that time. Our June 23 concert features great jazz music from the 1950’s, with a few 'throwbacks' to the 40's. Our set list includes tunes like Au Privave, Straight No Chaser, Lullaby of Birdland, Satin Doll, Fly Me to the Moon, and many more. The concert is FREE and open to the public. Weather-permitting, Collage will play from RACC's picturesque patio into its lovely garden area. Audience members should bring their own seating. In case of rain, the concert moves indoors to the beautifully-appointed and climate-controlled living room at RACC. Beer and wine will be available for a donation, and other complimentary refreshments will also be on hand. It's a great way to spend a summer evening! We would love to see you there.
