CAPITOLFEST film festival features movies made during the first 50 years of cinema. Day #2 includes the controversial 1931 drama, SEED, starring John Boles, Genevieve Tobin, and Bette Davis, the 1928 silent comedy CELELBRITY with Robert Armstrong, the talking comedy THE FIRST YEAR (1931) with Janet Gaynor and Charles Farrell, and the police thriller, RADIO PATROL (1932) with Robert Armstrong. Melanie Wyler, daughter of three-time Oscar winner for best director, William Wyler, will be on-hand to introduce his movie GLAMOUR (1934). Additional features and short subjects will round out the program. Guest silent movie organists will be Philip Carli and Don Kinnier. plus other features and short subjects.
